Icon star Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa-2’ has collected around Rs 1800 crores at the worldwide box office. In the north, the wind of collection is still going on. Now Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has become the third highest Indian grosser of all time after Dangal.
At the same time Pushpa 2 bagged another rare record. Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ in single language i.e Hindi Rs. It became the only South Indian film to rake in 1000 crores at the box office. Pushpa 2 with destruction in single (Hindi) language Rs. Only 3 movies have collected 1000 crores. Pushpa 2 is now the third Indian film to cross Rs 1000 crore worldwide in Hindi. Before Pushpa 2 in Hindi Rs. Shah Rukh Khan starrer spy action thriller ‘Pathan’ and mass action entertainer – ‘Jawaan’ are the only two films to cross 1000 crores.
Both Pathan and Jawan share same language i.e. Hindi to worldwide Rs. The only Bollywood films to hit 1000 crores. Now ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has joined these films. That means Shahrukh Khan – Allu Arjun are the only two Indian superstars who have given Rs 1000 crore worldwide in Hindi.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathan’ collected Rs.1050 crores at the worldwide box office. Nine months later in the same year, SRK – Atlee’s film ‘Jawaan’ collected Rs.1150 crores worldwide.
Jaawan is currently the sixth highest grossing Indian film worldwide. Pathan is ranked seventh. Films like Baahubali 2, RRR, KGF 2 have collected more than 1000 crores but are not in the list of films that have earned 1000 crores only from Hindi language.
